Terms and Conditions of Hire


All equipment remains the property of Suffolk Chair Covers.

Suffolk Chair Covers is not responsible for injury or damage to persons or property arising from any items supplied by us. The Hirer and or third party venue need to have appropriate insurance to cover any such occurance.

It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that all Chair Covers and accessories are fully covered by their own or the third party venues insurance.

Any shortage or damaged Chair Covers or accessories will be charged at full replacement value deducted from the security deposit. This does not include normal marks easily removed by laundering but will include excessive food or beverage stains, burns, wax, damage or tears which will be chargeable. Full replacement values are available at any time on request.

All Chair Covers and accessories need to be made available at the prearranged collection time if unavailable additional costs may be incurred

Agreed prices for the wedding or event day only including time from installation to collection unless additional time has been agreed and quoted for at time of booking.

Quantity ammendments must be advised no later than 2 weeks prior to guarentee delivery.

Suffolk Chair Covers politely reserves the right to use any photography of events for promotional purposes unless advised by the Hirer.

DIY - Delivery & Collection Only Chair Covers

It is the full responsibility of the hirer to ensure that deliveries are signed for from the courier at your chosen delivery address on the agreed delivery date.

Failed or unavailable collections at the agreed collection may  incurre additional costs.

Chair Covers need to be folded with Sashes untied with both neatly packed as per instructions in marked bags inside transit boxes. Failure to follow packing instructions may incur additional charges.

Chair Covers will be collected on the first working day following your event and must be received at Suffolk Chair covers by close of business 2 working days after the event. Late returns will be charged at £15 per day. 

Deposit & Payment

£50 deposit will be required to secure your booking.

The balance and security deposit will be required 2 weeks prior to installation. Non payment may result in cancelation of your order

Payments can be made by Debit card, Credit card (subject to a 3% Charge). Bank transfer or Cash in person at our Ipswich Office. We no longer accept cheques.

A fully refundable security deposit of £100 is required.with final balance payment. A full refund will be made within 5 working days of return of hired Chair Covers and accessories subject to any additional incurred costs.. 

Cancellation policy

 The following cancellation rates apply.

100% of the deposit is chargeable for notice less than 8 weeks. *

Deposit fully refundable if more than 8 weeks notice is given subject to a £20 admin fee.*

* All refunds are subject to a £20.00 admin fee.. 

Force Majeure

An event that Suffolk Chair Covers or the hirer could not anticipate or which if anticipated is too strong to be considered, abnormal and unforeseeable  circumstances so that the consequences could not have been avoided through the exercise of all due care...
